Blackbriar 8,569
http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/436702/Tesco-slammed-over-thoughtless-puppy-for-Christmas-advert I absolutely support the idea that ' a dog is for life, not just for Xmas', but it's an advert in a free mag seen by a limited number of people - how influential do the Dog's Trust and ArsePCA really think Tesco are? Have Tesco shot themselves in the foot (the ad has been described as 'vile', 'sickening' and 'evil'), or is it a sweet picture of a little girl next to a blackboard, blown out of all proportion by people with nothing better to do? (Am I allowed to say 'blackboard'?) You thoughts...................?
Gaz_1989 9,539
You can't say blackboard. It's a chalkboard or a dark coloured board
scothunter 12,609
they must be bored
Ratreeper 441
Blown a bit out of proportion really, but you can never underestimate the stupidity of the average person who might just see that and think 'actually, a puppy would be what he wants most'. Anything that doesn't stop more muppets buying dogs and breeding them is a bad thing imo.

04fox8 168
Do Tescos even sell puppies?
mackay 3,458
I don't know what I find more worrying, the fact that folk think that advert will encourage someone to go out and buy a pup, or the fact that it actually would encourage someone to go and buy one. Are people really so easily influenced?.
Bosun11 537
As far as I'm concerned a puppy is for Christmas and a bunny (or two) is for the following one..!!!
