Fair play to you STIG ,some old memories to get peoples minds thinking back to the ,s ,of what

dogs they had also ,and in them days the shows where good craic .Was with an old mate last week

,use to be on here as 5dogs ,had a few pints with him and he was just telling me stories of the craic

they had digging in the 70s and at Kens own show at his house .

good times -- shows used to be worth winning in them days --big classes at most shows ... kens was a good show --

That was not just a show it was a social gathering as shows were back then kg show gh llangollen , the lambourn lurcher show , rydal , the great Yorkshire , lowther , they were like Appleby for. Travelers.

used to be a big show down devon 3 day steam fair - horse show, along the lines of the Yorkshire--gte I seem to remember a show was it merseyside working terrier club ? .. pennine foxhounds used to be a big show and one to win..

she`s been a good un 15 now ----been a pleasure and a privilege to own if I`d have gone through my life with terriers with 10 like her would of been a of an easy job

When I think of all the photos we did not take,but it was really not the done thing to pull out a camera(if you had one)a lot of people would not tolerate it,and dodgy to get developed.

you couldn't trust boots the chemist in them days liam.... I took some of the mrs arse once and they put a sticker over it unsuitable content -- they`d need a big old sticker these days ....

i won best russell at the lowther and got reserve with this old lad, long gone now.

 

 

this old gal got best pup in show the following year. also long gone.
