Lab 10,979
I personally think they are both guilty of little maddys death ,im pretty good at judging guilt is in their eyes . I believe they drugged them to sleep that night and gave Madeleine too much , when they found her they hid her body im positive they will find her body burried and tests will show it was drug relatedVery risky letting there friend go and check a dead bairn wouldn't you say? If there friends saw her laying on the bed that would of been enough they would of been happy and left So you think they would take that chance and not just check themselves?? If they did over sedate her and put the body to bed then go to the tapas bar to give them more time and make everything seem normal . a friend checking would just see the body in the bed and leave there no going to check for a pulse Or they could have used there brains and just checked themselves eh... Now that would make sense!!
Gaz_1989 9,539
I left my little girl in the garage at the weekend for 10 seconds while I went and fetched one of the dogs from its pen. She climbed on a stool and fell off. She was alright but I felt guilty for taking my eye off her. Thats a parenting mistake. What if your little girl had not fell from the stool........what if you fetched the dogs, came back took your girl in the house and had a nice evening playing together........................................................does that cease to be a mistake ? ...................or....god forbid your daughter suffered a terrible injury when she fell does it then make it a worse mistake ?.......Luck plays a huge part in most bad decisions......we all do it every day.....i crossed the road without looking today and i didnt happen to get hit by a car....big mistake or little mistake ?...................would of been a f****n massive mistake if i was now dead wouldnt it. But all of these examples are split second decisions gnash. Deciding to leave your kids alone for a prolonged period, night after night, is not a split second decision. They have it some thought and went ahead with it.

stabba 10,745
Do the McGanns know they made a mistake? Yes i think they do. Have they ever admitted to making that mistake? No they have not. That's what alot of folk are against. The McGanns are treating it as an everyday thing and nothing to worry about. (leaving the kids unattended i mean). Now suppose i went to see Kate McGann because she was my GP and i told her that i left my kids on a regular basis to go for nights out. You reckon she'd say "oh normal behaviour stabba" .Like fcuk she would. She'd be straight onto social services the minute my back was turned. Dodgy hand shakes and influencial friends have kept them out of jail thus far but the spanish police know the score and so do alot of the british public. One day their house of cards will come tumbling down. And i hope its soon while its still in the publics and media attention.
Tiercel 6,986
someone sid in the other thread. he hired the car the day after? and it was a dead fish and rubbish the dog smelt, well for one i can see why maybe he would hire a car, to look for his kid. She said herself, at the end of that interview that was posted on here yesterday; For the first Forty Eight Hours she simply did f**k all about trying to find the child. Probably too concerned with making sure no f**ker went near that sofa! Probably because the police were asking her inane question? TC

ArchieHood 3,692
crossing a road is different to leaving three young kids alone on holiday and going drinking, kids had no choice you do your an adult Point being......adults make stupid mistakes/decisions every day...............unless your perfect of course, then you dont. What I cant understand Gnash and maybe you could explain is during the Boston bombings a photographer took a picture of a man in a wheelchair with his legs missing, his pictures helped the police piece together the events that day,..... he was just doing his job yet "the c**t deserved his head stamping on" now on the other hand two professional people fail to do their job of protecting their children and you treat them as innocent victims of their own wealth.Ironically it was this wealth that paid for the IVF treatment to have children in the first place. However it never stretched as far as the mortgage, that was paid out of the fund set up to find their daughter.

stabba 10,745
Mortgage payments £2000 a month. Both Parents were on unpaid leave and were broke after spending 4 months in Portugal. Fund money was also spent on a 5 star hotel for Kate's father and friend to stay over there. Mortgage was paid by fund money..Fund money was also spent on private investigators also. I believe the fund was set up as a ltd company or some such thing so as not to have to disclose where the money was being spent. As a registered charity every penny would have to be accounted for.
