RubyTex 1,957 Posted October 14, 2013 Report Share Posted October 14, 2013 the resteraunt was only 50 meters away and they felt comfotable leaving the kids 50 meters away .i notice in life sometimes really nice people (church going types)never for one min can comprahend such evel lurks.we come from different walks in life and they felt at home doing it.i was working on a tree job once when i stopped to see someones one/2 year old walking down the middle of a road.these things happen.how many of you reading this have not locked all the house doors yet.sadly if you plan to steal a kid you probably could at some point.the shutters were down windows were closed etc. all this said i'm not a parent so what do i know. i think they have paid the ultimate price and calling them c***s is harsh atb mike The only issue there is Mike, they are doctors! They know the world isn't all sunshine and lollipops, they will have seen all sorts of injuries, wounds etc over the years to know the world isn't a nice place and to look after their own kids accordingly! How many of you would leave your three children, aged 3 and under, in your apartment, alone, while you go to dinner with your friends? We're not talking for a few minutes. He and his wife made a decision that they have regretted every day since, and one that will haunt them for the rest of their days, whatever the outcome. How many parents leave their children unattended while on holiday, without incident? We only hear of one appalling tragedy, and how do some respond? True. Think on this, how many of you have said come on the baby will sleep for another hour only to be caught out when they wake unexpected. I do not believe anyone thinks that their child will be abducted. I would not do it but some might, if children have a recognised sleep pattern is it so bad to assume that the pattern will carry on and the children will sleep for the usual amount of time? Every one assumes that the bar was miles away yet it was less than a minutes walk away from the apartment. To draw a parody the child that was attacked by a fox in it's own bed. Were the parent negligent because they only knew the fox was there by the childs cry? They allowed the fox access to their child, no matter how safe they thought the child was tucked up in it's own bed. It is easy to point the finger, think of how with one little quirk of fate, how things could be very different with every incident. Their judgement was proven wrong... they lost their kid... ffs that must be the highest price to pay,... It's nothing to do with perfect parenting, every parent fucks up daily.... but 99.9% of the time you don't lose your child.... And what's this 'going on the piss'. Way I saw it was they were a stones throw away and checked every 30 mins with friends checking there children in the rooms next door. There choice!
