TOMO 26,070
housing benefit paid straight to the landlord who is really cheating the system Believe it or not,,, that system is coming to an end,,, and already has in most places,,, the councils think it better for people to have more responsibility and pay the rent to there landlord,,,, of course it's bollox,, as already at the hostel I work at,, we are seeing repeat,, people and couples who haven't paid there rent,,, they come to our place,, then get re housed default again,,, and the cycle continues,,, fecking madness
dare 1,103
Think council houses priority should go to those working. Got a few mates in london where I used to live. They work but no way could afford to rent private and being a single bloke without kids don't stand a chance of getting a council place. They would be able to afford that rent. I'd rather a mortgage in the hope to live near other people who work. Only as I find people look after things better when they've paid for it. Wouldn't want to be going to work and paying for place to live next door to someone who does f**k all and lets it become a shithole. Luckily I'm in a career where ill always have work though. If like alot of people work isn't always 100% there, I guess being in a council place where the rents paid if not got a job on offers some security. Easier to save for a house deposit to buy a place when in council as to paying 800 for a 1bedroom flat private renting.

dare 1,103
Made me laugh the woman wanting 30k and isn't qualified for f**k all. Didnt like the fact she looked down at fast food workers either as if she's better. Nothing more than a fat c**t no wonder she's a single mum imagine when he sobbered up he legged it. Other one said shell go to work if everything was paid and she was left with 500quid a week lol what world does she live in? Wouldn't we all love that. Second generation of benefits shouldn't be allowed to have kids. Clearly they don't have good genes. We aren't going to move forward by breeding lazy c**ts without pride. And if living with those as parents doesn't motivate you into wanting more for your life then what will. Just open more chicken shops, pubs and betting shops in their areas and hope the lazy gits live a very miserable life lol. By the way I got nothing wrong with people who are down on their luck and out of work. It's those that don't want more I can't seem to understand.

Been saving for the deposit all this year literally had no life. If I hadn't moved away from my mates there aint no way in hell I'd of been able to stay in and save.
