darkdd81 36
Will be handy for decoying, or lamping if you're on your own and need to carry your rabbits a long way. Hey, at £14 if it's no good, it does'nt really matter. Quote Link to post
Craig Fosse 286
They are not as big as what you think mate, quite handy when I was out in afghan and used it for patrolling, really good idea although I use my old grab bag for hunting really, as I don't like something on my shoulder where my rifle butt goes... However it's something I may end up investing in, if it's what I'm thinking it will only carry 3 or 4 rabbits max with enough room for a snack a water bottle and some small extra gear lol head torch gloves etc Edited October 15, 2013 by Craig Fosse Quote Link to post
TimS 49
Ive got one very similar made by Miltec. Size is perfect for a hunting bag. Its not 30L though. Maybe 22L. These actually look better than the one I have as they have a pull-strap over the top to pull the bag tight together and better shoulder straps. Look like a good buy for £14. Let us know how you get on and what the stitching quality is like as often its the stitching on the straps that fails on these. The inside isnt lined with a waterproof material on these either, so dont forget plastic bags for your quarry! Top tip. Cheers! Tim 1 Quote Link to post
darkdd81 36
No worries Tim. Thanks. Quote Link to post
Daz39 962
Nice, I'd be interested in the review fella. Quote Link to post
Daz39 962
Well, went and bought one of these and my thoughts so far:- (Woodland camo version) * Good size, I can fit all my hunting gear IN it (Coat, combat pants, hats, gloves, lamps, batteries, pellets, targets, lump of wood for zeroing - you name it, its all in the bag) * Straps - hmmm, these come in S,M,L - if you are XL - I am not sure how well this thing will fit on your back!! I have extended mine and it is comfortable with a t-shirt, jumper and jacket - IF I don't try to fasten the cross chest strap. I don't feel like I need to, as the shoulder straps keep the bag in place fine. * Waist strap - hahahahaha, if you are over a 30" waist - forget it. The belly strap, like the chest strap, is short. In fact, shorter than the chest strap. With all my gear on, I can't fix the belly strap. I know, stop with the pies. * NOISE!! Man there are so many zips on this thing, you jingle like Santa and all the raindeers! You will need to tape up the zips for noise if you intend to walk about with this on your back and stalk. * Pockets and stuff. PLENTY of pockets and compartments for all your stuff. No worries at all. * The main section is big enough for 3-4 rabbits no probs. HAHAHA like I ever get 3-4 rabbits in one night!! All in all, worth the £14, it will be fine for me using the shoulder straps only, if you are a slip of a man, you'll be able to use the chest and belly straps. I have also cliped a camo bum bag on the bottom so I can now carry everything needed for several trips! Daz Quote Link to post
Craig Fosse 286
Daz, any chance of a couple of photos I'm talking on your back?, just wondering if I go for one or one slightly smaller. Thanks Quote Link to post
Daz39 962
I'll sort some out. I wouldn't go smaller mate. It's the size of a normal ruck sack you might have used for school. Not massive at all. Quote Link to post
darkdd81 36
Cheers Daz, looks like I don't have to do a review any more! I'll echo what Daz says, zips need taping. Size is perfect for day shooting. I'd say it's to small for lamping or Decoying. Seems well made, loads of pockets for all your knife, torch, pellets etc.....Sells in different colours and the postage is free!. I've already got 2 more on order, one for fishing, and another in darker camo for autumn. Happy Days. ATB Quote Link to post
Craig Fosse 286
Brilliant that's the size I'm after, couple of pictures would be great tho... I use a grab bag over my shoulder(man bag basically) but I prefer a rucksack now especially if I go out with the shotgun Quote Link to post
Daz39 962
Will post tom morn mate. Quote Link to post

Daz39 962
Here you go Craig, click on the thumb for a better pic. First one on my back (I'm 6'1" for ref). One next to the HW100T for perspective. And one with the bum bag clipped on (not like I need extra storage). LOADS of space, but I wouldn't go smaller!! Quote Link to post
