gonetoearth 5,144
What about Coursing ? Its should also be made Legal whereby if you have Landowners permission. One or Two dogs maximum should be allowed to control Hares. Its the Shooting of Hares that should be banned. The Gun is indiscriminate and often enough only wounds. With Dogs it lives or dies No iff's or butts Those that live tend to be Fit,Strong ,Agile and Smart. They go on to Breed a Healthier population of Hares. Its all been said before, Do they Listen ? And not to mention the many needed Jobs a Complete overturn of the Ban would create. And BRITAIN needs to create Jobs thats for sure, . Max not being rude but No hunt has packed in in fact a couple have started up. One step at a time bud there working on it

The Seeker 3,048
Small measures should be welcomed if they can get this through without having to go to a vote then all well and good. Slowly slowly catchy monkey Max I understand your frustration but to criticise another mans hunting isnt constructive. I can assure you my gun doesnt wound charlie when I hit it

It's a cross party alliance, meaning all party's are interested in doing something about it, which is a good thing. Malt, good point and there's something in that for sure, but at least it's a positive step. Badger cull?...hounds hunting again? Brian May will be having sleepless nights

boyo 1,398
i have always personally thought that if hunting is ever made legal again it will only be for the actual hunts i have always felt that coursing and staghunting will be left out to dry and stay as it is and thats banned . but i would still be pleased for the hunts if the bill gets overturned for them . i to beileive hares should not be shot but at the end of the day each to their own .

One step at a time bud there working on it My point being is that Yes Hunts are ok but Nothing being done to reinstate Coursing. Coursing to rules with Greyhounds was the Only fieldsport were the aim was NOT to kill the quarry and its Banned ffs coursing should be reinstated but would have to be controlled with rules and a closed season. but the cowboys would just fcuk it up
