Gaz_1989 9,539
How do you lads who've got the deer/bull/grey find the temperament compared to the bull/grey? What does the deerhound add? Obviously the only lads who can answer this are lads who have had both. Cheers. Quote Link to post
bullx100% 681
ive had a deer bull grey cross...was a demon on fox was very laid back and very steady untill the lamp was turned on and then it was a whole different ball game.only way i can compare him against the bull x that i owned was his temperament.....he was laid back steady egar to please and genraly wanted to be with you most the bullx i had were quiet the opposite lol Quote Link to post
Westy76 546
This is a cross that really intrests me and ultimately I'd like to have out of my 3/8 5/8 dog to a half x deer x grey bitch in a few years. I like the steady side to the deer grey to offset the always ready for action bull x nature but ultimately I want the jacket that comes with it without adding any other terrier to it. Be good to see some more pics please. Quote Link to post
sandymere 8,263
I would agree with BullX, the Deerhound does seem to steady them a bit making them easier to live with on a day to day basis but they still have the Oomph when the lamp goes on! Quote Link to post

I don't think the good bull crosses need deerhound blood to improve wind or feet Ray. Just my opinion. Coat could be an advantage definitely. But there are SOME bull cross out there doing the job with bags of wind and excellent feet. The ones that should be bred from Quote Link to post
