That's incorrect, the law completely forbids this.

very true terriers can only be used to ground for game bird protection, digging to protect sheep is against this silly law

It's of little benefit to lurcher folk. But a step in the right direction, but the cynic in me suspects this will be the government's offering of a solution rather than going for a full repeal of this ridiculous law..

Terrier not terriers ;-) & the ca need a slap for re posting such badly worded crap.. There basically going to try & get the same laws as Scotland. Edited by alimac

You're right Ali. It will allow the hunts to continue unimpeded, but will make no difference what so ever for lurched folk. There will be no more prosecutions of hunt staff, as long as there is someone it's a shotgun stood nearby. Be good news for the bushing packs though!
