What Ft/pound To Get A Daystate Air Ranger In Im Thinking 50Ftp Or 60 Ftp ?

changed me mind want to get the daystate air ranger what would yous folks recommend air ranger in .22 at 40ft pound or in .25 at 60 ft pound what do you think will be the best just for general hunting rabbits etc

.22 @ 30ftlb is plenty for all air rifle quarry, it's what I have.

Run a pellet between 900 & 950fps. A lot favour 16gn JSB / AA fields.

No real need for 40ftlb plus.

 

My FAC .22 Daystate Huntsman takes quarry very well, they never survive a JSB from the Huntsman at 30ftlb. Also plenty of pellet choice !

 

The Ranger is a beautiful rifle and will have plenty of shots at 30ftlb too if you want/ need the high shot count !
