Chris_Humphreys 0
As the above title says finally found someone locally to me that is willing to let me tag along and show me the ropes. He is even going to give me two ferrets as well! I'm sure that the guy will tell me everything I need to know, but seeing as im just sitting in as its piddling down thought id ask you guys. What type of nets do i need for ferrreting? Is there a ferreting net or do i need to use purse nets? and how much should I be looking to pay for these? Thanks in advance Chris Quote Link to post

Bunny Boiler 177
I find heavier nets for purse netting are better as they dont snag, provided you are setting them proper. Long nets should be lighter as they are used to tangle the rabbits limbs, and not actually purse around them. Dont buy until you've been out. Then you actually get an understanding of what your requirements are, instead of being told by people. You decide what to take. Some just take a ferret and a dog, nothing else, then others have nets, dogs, locators and a spade that meant they got a second mortage. Decide what you want. Numbers, easy set, or watch the dog run?
