NEWKID 27,234
I meant the real mate, no idea on the flies... I'm a hoarder though.. You would have a field day in my shed mate lol.. Now my dad he's a different level on hoarding... -------------the mrs said the flys made 250 .. I wouldn't know where to start with fishing tackle mate.. mind saying that I bought a 1962 gillera mo-ped at auction today and I know feck all about them either Haha... You'll make a few quid on it, I know you will lol... I wouldn't mind messing about with old fishing gear, I've got quite a few old split canes knocking about.. Might get some valued.. I'd enjoy that tbh. Cracking find Kev never even heard of a 387,never mind getting them split canes valued, get em out and bend em cant beat it,bought one a few year ago on fleabay, nothing celubrious, was going to mount it and display...had to have a go first though...heavy to say the least but a nice action, good feel to it and a real sense of "nostalgia"about it,cant help but sit there whilst using it ,wondering what adventures it had been on with its previous owners ATB Dave The 387 is sea fishing reel size Dave, it's right hand wind only as well, Don't know about using the split canes though, I feel nostalgic enough using my old kit lol... I fancy giving that salmon reel a go though, and I don't even fly fish lol 1 Quote Link to post
