It's embarrassing, the replies on there are unbelievable, like a bunch of bullying, bitchy teenage girls, who start off laying into some poor sod and then turn on each other. Lads ripping the piss who not so long ago didn't have a clue themselves ...but they forget some of the dumb posts they have started in the past lol but one season later know it all .... i think there are alot of dicks on here who have all the the best dogs, but i use this site to talk to the rest of the normal people on here who like to talk and get info and find out what other peoples views are on here, i have been lamping since i was about 9 years old so 10 years ago, i have learnt alot off here and gained alot more info about certain things than i would of done if id come on here and put pictures of 1000s of rabbits saying my dog caught all these in half an hour in one field, i dont have the rabbit numbers round me to do that but i can well belive that some of you do, but we are all doin the same job and doing something that we enjoy so why not help each other out no one knows everything and its good to help out people that are new to the game and are a bit unsure, it keeps the sport going !!!! rant over Quote Link to post

Im not calling anyone a bully and i certainly wouldn't get wound up by threats or verbal abuse either ...anyone who slags folks wife's /family etc aren't worth the reply imo ... Some really nice folk on here ..but it also attracts the other kind who make me wonder whether logging on here is worth it ? Fella comes on asking if anyone wants whippet pups and is looking for a stud dog to put over his whippet x saluki x collie x whippet to breed whippets with......and he's never been seen or heard of since....and some took it all very serious..... and felt the need to defend the piss taker from the piss takers..... In truth, I don't think it's just this one particular thread that's being referred to. It's just the place as a whole. You yourself were quite vocal on the whippet pup thread and even converted 200 yards into swimming pool lengths. (Feck knows why you did that!) You're hardly the Old man of the woods, are you? Do you think you've got enough experience to pass comment on other peoples dogs or their hunting techniques? I think that's peoples point, the inexperienced criticising others when they are only repeating what they've heard and read. These people haven't seen enough or done enough to be able to have there own opinion. This isn't a criticism Gaz but you had to ask a couple of fellas which dog you should choose out of a litter. You did that because you didn't know enough and called on those that did. That was the right thing to do. But in the next breath you can't be lambasting others for not knowing enough or for making newbie mistakes with regards to dogs breeding. 2 Quote Link to post
