Bootsha 1,306
the more you handle kits the better they will be as adults, you reap what you sew mate, never truer with working dogs and ferrets, come to think of it, any sort of animal really thats required to do a task for you. 1 Quote Link to post

Andrew Beirne 78
what i did when i weaned my kits I feed them first then offered them my hands and if they bite them I would push my finger right in after one or two times they stop and realise fingers arent tasty and they need them to be fed this worked for me and I got two on Sunday biting like mad used this method now there completely fine no biting now Quote Link to post
SINDASOX 256
Picked up this hob a few weeks back and he is as gentle as a lamb, he was handled everyday on a regular basis and i am doing the same, Second pic below looks like he is sinking them in....lol....but as i said he has been well handled and is only playfighting....lol SINDASOX 1 Quote Link to post
GreyRake 108
I playfight with mine too, the kit over steps the mark at times but that's to be expected. Because I let mine out in the house everyday they get plenty of contact from me. As they run about I just pick them up briefly here and there, does the job. Socks/toes are a different ball game though.... Quote Link to post
Foxhole 22
Some play harder than others so now and again you get one that gets all hyper and bites a bit harder . I have yet to have a litter without atleast one of these in the group.Just needs a bit more patience Quote Link to post
