*The*Field*Marshall* 674
Says he's willing to come out of retirement for 100 million and talks are going on with the Wladimir Klitchko camp to make it happen. . I wouldn't have been interested, but the state of heavyweight boxing and the lack of competitive fights, why not?!?

Joe67 239
it would be a awesome payday, what age is he now, how long since last fight? cant see him wining if it was to happen edit: 48 and ten years ago, cant see it The 48-year-old Lewis last fought professionally over a decade ago, but told the Daily Mail he would be ready to step back into the ring with only six months of training on the condition that he is paid $100million, more than double the purse that was guaranteed to Floyd Mayweather in his victory over Saul Alvarez. Lewis says he was offered $50m to end his retirement while he attended Klitschko's uninspiring unanimous decision victory over Alexander Povetkin in Moscow at the weekend, but would need double that to spring into action. "That is my price tag and it is under discussion," Lewis told the Daily Mail. "I have told them I can be ready in six months and I am in provisional training. "I said at the time that it will take $50m to get me out of my pyjamas but now I have to consider the value of my legacy of having retired as undisputed champion. That will cost them $100m." FocusedLewis had always maintained he had no interest in making a comeback since retiring after beating Klitschko's older brother Vitali in June 2003 in controversial circumstances, retaining his WBC title when the fight was stopped after the sixth round in Los Angeles. The Ukrainian had a deep cut above his left eye but led on the judges' scorecards when officials ruled he could not continue. In the referee's opinion the cut had been caused by a punch, which meant that Lewis was automatically declared the winner. A much-hyped rematch never materialised, but Lewis would be more focused on a fight with Wladimir should he decide to return to the ring. "I beat Vitali so I would like to fight the other brother but we'll see how it works out," he said.

neil cooney 10,416
He must have a fair opinion of himself, either that or he's broke. Lennox Lewis was at the height of his game when the state of heavyweight fighting was at it's lowest IMO.

neems 2,406
I his day he would of destroyed klitschko, but now I reckon the fight would look sumo match. Wlad loves to hold and Lewis would have no choice if he didn't want to get knocked out.

gnasher16 30,024
I think he is being very disrespectful to a sport that has been very kind to him.....so he thinks he can just sit in the background for 10 years waiting for the current champions to get past it then turn round and say " ok im ready now give me 100 mill and i,ll turn up ".......what has he got left ? what shape can he get in ?.......by all means make a comeback but do what everyone else has to do and prove your worthy of challenging the world heavyweight champion you cant just live off past glory when its that long ago........have a few comeback fights,if he,s still got it then good luck.

CHIP 39
Well big George done it what next the Lennox Lewis deep fat fatless fryer lol George was an exception all but 1 of his losses were on points,= extremely tough barstad hard to put away even if he had slowed down a bit. i dont see lewis having that kind of success coming back,im hoping he stays put, i can see why it would be tempting coming back though ,looking at the state of the heavyweight scene.
