Hi guys,

I have a beautiful brindle whippet, who is half 'laguna whippet' (supposedly) other half a twist of saluki a good glug of whippet and a pinch of collie, she is an absolue beauty, fearless and a bit nutty(as all good whippets should be) , and I would really like to breed some nice whippet pups.

I tried to put pictures up but im afraid im computer illiterate, and don't know how to change the size of the photos, any help would be appreciated, Im located in Cornwall, give me a message if you have a good working dog whippet and your interested.

Thanks for looking

The worrying thing is this sounds like a genuine post lol

It most likely is a genuine post, by a new member, who may not post again because he's been hammered. How about people offer a bit of advice and steer him in the right direction instead of trying to make him look stupid?

There's obviously a few on here that have replied who know a bit about whippets who could help him out. Educate don't berate.

I know a bit about whippets but it won't be any help.

totally agree pal said it time and time again half of them just like to try and take the piss, if it is genuine he obviously wants a few friendly pointers not a good reason to never want to log in and post again

He isn't asking for advice only a stud .

a stud is somethink thats jammed up your lasses back end everytime you at work she must have got sick of you in the midlife crises stage youre at, having a giggle while taking a slamming thinking of you and your smart remarks on a forum with a big smile on her face, just remember it isnt your smart comments that made her wet when you put your hand there somebody else moistened it right up, but she was only asking for a stud

That's appalling - I'd be well pissed if you'd written that about my Mrs.......really shameful....everyone can rip the piss a bit and give and take the banter but that's beyond the pale......you should be embarrassed.... :icon_redface:

Check back your posts though and some of the amazingly creative pics you entered in the photo comp and it ain't a big surprise really.....

Personally I reckon you should apologise for writing that disgusting crap..... :icon_eek:

totaly agree with you on that....having a banter and a laf fair play.....but bringing missus into it is just wrong.

In truth I don't get wound up. I'm laughing most of the time. But, I will defend the unfairly victimised with venom.

No one has been unfairly victimised.

Paulus is a top bloke and you seem intent on trying to make him look a c**t?

I'm sure Paulus can fight his own battles and stand up for himself after he's insulted someone and doesn't need your assistance.

If Paulus stopped suddenly, all we'd find would be your Lidl trainers hanging out of his back passage before you're so far up his arse!!

invasive alien species could easily mean feral cat, but as it happens she actually said invasive avian species or maybe she meant avian species as per the guidelines http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:hpaz_MgtDdAJ:https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/237366/Guide_Firearms_Licensing_Law_2012-13_chapter_13.pdf+&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk

as for your nightly 200yrd plus slips then you crack on mate but its always best to identify whats at the end of the beam and at 200yrds plus it is something i personally couldn't do in the dark even with a good lamp

As for the member who posted this he joined yesterday morning, posted this as his first post, waited 20 minutes for it to approved and then logged off, obviously a windup

13.21 Self-loading shotguns (‘semi-automatic’ is defined in section 27 of the Wildlife and
Countryside Act 1981 as capable of holding more than two rounds in the magazine
and applies only to large magazine shotguns (and .22RF)) may be used to shoot certain
pest species under the terms of a licence from either Natural England, Scottish National
Heritage, or the Natural Resource Wales but is applicable to avian species only. Large-
magazine shotguns may be required to deal with serious pest problems with wood pigeon
or corvids (rooks and crows). It is acceptable for self-loading shotguns to be used for
mammal pest species including rabbits and squirrels. Once “good reason” is established
for avian vermin control, shotguns of this kind may be allowed for taking other small vermin
(including mammals such as squirrels and rabbits)

Thanks for that, although as previously stated, I own a Practical Shotgun club and have all my section 1 shotguns conditioned for vermin. If your FEO had conditioned your licence as you stated for Invasive Avian Species then you'd have only been allowed to shoot Canada's, Ring Necked Parakeets, Ruddy Ducks etc. Woodpigeons, crows and rooks are native and not classed as invasive.

If you can't see 200 yards then that's unfortunate but please have the dignity not to dismiss it as impossible. I can't skateboard but I won't tell the kids jumping off of the steps outside Tesco that it's impossible. Get a proper red LED lamp and then go out. I was out with another member off of here last night and we spotted 2 fox in excess of 200 yards and not only could we identify them we also watched as they moved about and continued to mooch about.

If you believe that the way you reacted to the new members post was acceptable and that this is an isolated incident and completely out of character for yourself then there's nothing more I can say.

Good point! Be respectful Gaz, the fashion world in Scotland is currently rocking the 1987 look.

It's not a retro statement or anything, they've only just caught up.

There is a law being passed at the moment to allow the imprisonment of all Scottish barbers, in truth those haircuts they do are criminal! Even Billy Ray Sirrus would ask for his money back!
