Poacherspocket 189
That looks a very well made net from the picture but what is a poke net? Iv used long nets gate nets and purse nets but never heard of or seen a poke net? Quote Link to post
Nick3439 83
It's a purse net with two pegs basically.... Quote Link to post
Poacherspocket 189
So you get a better purse on the rabbit. Why or when would you use one of these then? If you have a bigger hole possibly with multiple tunnels to it? Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
I use my poke net to cover a couple of awkward holes. Maybe when there's 3 small holes inside one big hole which is bigger then a standard purse net. Or when on a quarry and it's all sandy banks. Sometimes hard to place a purse net but the Poke net covers 2 or 3 holes well. I don't use it very often but have been very grateful of having it in my bag a few times. Quote Link to post

If he still has the pic maybe he would be kind enough to put it up. Quote Link to post
