Country Joe 1,411
Ive been approached twice recently, people who know ive been around beddy crosses for years, have told them to contact me. both wanted dogs as pets, and they wanted them to be like Greengrasses out of Heartbeat, I told them to go on preloved. had a look and £250 appears to be the going rate, they were not interested in any three part Whippet quarter Beddy, that were smooth coated. they wanted Rough haired. 1 Quote Link to post

lurcher2020 285
Seen several line bred beedy crosses all looked the part but not up on the leg, dogs were 23 tts and bitches as small as 20. ideal for rabbits but in my view too small and light for anything bigger ive seen small dogs like that excel at big things fast thing and bitey things where some big dogs ive seen couldnt also if you breed to the small youll get small our line sits bitches between 23-25 and dogs 24-26 usually and most of them are quite pacey 1 Quote Link to post
NATACC 18
The price is bang on pal not knocking what any one decides to pay for a pup older dog or whatever im just saying personnally I could not afford to pay over 150 regardless ... just a thing I have a young whippet bitch 12 months old 17tts if in many years time I decide to breed what would you put over it beddy wise ???? lurcher2020 285
What ever was asked buy the owner i keep only beddy x grew in the line and wouldnt keep a pup with whippet in it and i am in no way mocking whippets or saying there no good its just a preference that i like the look of beddy grew but i think for a pure whippet you would be better with a first x grew beddy ir at the least a 5/8 3/8 as a 3/4 bred would only give you 1/8th beddy unless its a strong type the hairy dog i posted is 3/4 bred and used him on a first x wheaton grey for a boy i kept a pup and the fathers genes are that strong she looks like a first x but as said ahes fir working and wont breed her into the line as the wheaton is there 1 Quote Link to post
