wirral countryman 2,110
Charlie and I had a quick hour out late afternoon today on some local permission, not much about on the first few fields so we moved across to some land adjacent that had a few ponds on,"RUBY" went crashing in and killed a mallard, she hit it very hard and crashed into the pond, she dragged it out to the side where Charlie could pick her up and place her on some dry land, gave her the head and neck and left her at that. wirral countryman 2,110
Whilst we were out this afternoon we bumped into another of my mates that flies hawks and falcons, had a quick chat to see how his season had started and will probably give him a day out next week on some decent land with his male gos and maybe his GYR/Peregrine,WM Quote Link to post
wirral countryman 2,110
Nice pics mate what camera was that? The camera is a Nikon D80,I use 3 different lenses and have been trying to get used to the 300mm lense, they are not the best but are a cheap option for starting off,I've had it about 2yrs now and took some decent pics of my lurchers, terriers, hawks, ferrets, etc, action shots are the type I like best but sometimes I forget when things get hectic that its round my neck LOL's,you can pick a secondhand camera body for about 150 pounds, atb,WM Edited October 16, 2013 by wirral countryman 1 Quote Link to post
