walshie 2,804
If they weren't directly instrumental in her disappearance (and I'm 50/50 on that) then putting your child in a position where harm can come to her makes them guilty of neglect. You can't have eyes on your kids 100% of the time, but to make the decision to leave kids on their own at that age makes them at the very least irresponsible parents.

STRANGER 948
Well no one has came out and said it, but I personally think there is much more to the story than were all led to believe. In fact I think something tragic happened and they covered it up themselves The kids were sedated, did they give Madeline an overdose? Did she have a bad reaction to it? Also there was her blood in the boot of their hire car. The reason for that never came out And they at one point, when the spotlight was on them agreed to do a lie detector test then refused last minute, hardly the actions of an innocent couple. I doubt whether the truth will come out, there has been so much swept under the carpet. Just my opinion.

I read a bit too on google...... No we all know that media quotes and stuff can be pish but I read a bit where he said that they felt it was just like sitting in there garden when the kids are in bed..... Does he have a point.? How close do you have to be to your own kids to make you a good parent, is there a legal limit? What happens if your in a massive mansion and the kids are 200 yards away in another part of the building? Ok... They f****d up! But I'm pretty sure that this has went on for years and now that the wee one has went missing everyone can point the finger. There's no way on this earth that a couple could sleep at night knowing they had some involvement in the wee ones disappearance. Just my opinion like!

And anyone is more than entitled to feel that way mate. I just can't hound them for what I see as a massive mistake in there life. They have to live with it now, day in day out for as long as they can take a breath. I'm not going to be dragged into the conspiracy theories.......I just don't believe the had anything to do with it.
scothunter 12,609
fair doos i just feel they shouldnt play the victim on tv, they arent the victim in all this. there wee lassie is/was. in fact they are to blame and imo dont deserve the pity or the media attention.unless its solely to discuss there missing kid,and not to show themin a good light. i dont know if they had anything to with her dissapearance or not,but i will say this they arent divulging the whole sorry affair imo
riohog 5,721
they are desperate to prove the innocence ,regarding the missing child ,,, but ovcourse they cant,,, because they wornt f,ckin there .they were on the piss!! they admitted that,, they failed in there duty of care for there child ,they were negligent so therefore they were atleast part to blame for he r disapearence . I find it very hard to believe it was the first time they had left very young children alone " shocking " they want horse whipping for that at least ....
04fox8 168
Whether or not they did have anything to do with it, I'm sure some of the Top Cop's are watching each and every Interview / public appearance and scrutinising every expression / gesture, the works. Can't comment on Portuguese Police, but I've worked with a lot of Potuguese and they come across as a strange bunch.. The details that have been released to the Public, will only be a fraction of what they actually know. Certain we're not getting every fact that's available either. Maybe even a few porkies thrown in in an attempt to get a reaction.

They must have the police in there back pocket do they? Or do the police just see blood, then forget about it? Bollocks. If there was blood I'm sure all that evidence has been dealt with and it's not an avenue the police want to re-check. Why did she was her clothes? Maybe because she was in a state of shock and was trying to pretend she will be found in the next few days..... Plausible???? "I'm not obliged to answer that" seems to me they have been told by police what not to comment on incase they give any clues/evidence away to the potential kidnappers. Yes, no, maybe??????
