fay 75
has anybody used this on there dogs to wash them ? Quote Link to post
Bootsha 1,306
yes fay, its excellent stuff, and also an antibacterial wash, any wounds etc, wash it out with hibiscrub, very good stuff. Vets use it all the time as a pre operative wash, so it must be fit for purpose. I have used it for a long time now when needed, good stuff. added to say, follow the dilution rates and instructions on the side of the bottle. Check out ebay for hibiscrub, can get it cheap there if its an auction bottle and nobody wants it. B 2 Quote Link to post
Born Hunter 17,809
I'll use it on animal bites and well diluted to wash bashed up feet. Quote Link to post
bullmastiff 615
Vet gave me a 100ml bottle a while back. Seems to work fine as the dogs have never got infected bites. It's mixed 10 parts water to 1 part Hibiscrub. Use cotton wool or an antiseptic wipe to clean the wounds out. For holes I use a small syringe to squirt the liquid into the hole properly. 1 Quote Link to post
fay 75
so will it work for conditioning the coat that's y I bought it I was told it would Quote Link to post
bullmastiff 615
It's an antibacterial wash not a conditioner. Would presume it wouldn't do bugger all for the fur? Mind you having never tried it to wash with, I wouldn't know? Quote Link to post

bunnyboiler 1,054
Its good gear to use on cuts and bites for the initial clean but don't use it more than once as it breaks the tissue down when its healing 1 Quote Link to post
