Bird Swarcking

Hi guys my Harris Hawk has started swarcking a lot recently any way to stop him (I feed him through a tube into the aviary /mews I carnt be seen and I take him out every day )

why would you shute feed if your taking him out, whats his weight,doesnt matter if you cant be seen they hear you,

I don't really understand your post, you feed it through a shoot, but take it out everyday????????? What for a walk? What you should be doing is taking it hunting/training and if you have a blank day, feed the bird its whole ration on the lure, then at least it has had some success, and feels like it is feeding itself, so what are you doing with it when you take it out, do enlighten us?

hi not been on the computer , right to answer I have been taking the bird out training most nights and weekends heavy couple of days rain last week didn't take him out so feed him through tube was told not to let him associate me with food ? so tried using the tube , have been using the lure too

have not had any live quarry has yet . hope this makes it a bit more sence

Yes mate it does, feed him on the lure, you can call him to the fist but when he land toss the food on the ground that way he is moving away from you to the food, but try and feed his whole ration on the lure, just the odd titbit on the glove, he needs to get killing mate, he will probably quieten down then, but there are no guarantees.
