Stevo77 3
Used the Victor trap in NZ for Possums although will catch, cats, rabbits, ferrets, rats, hedge hogs, small dogs, even caught a sheep in one once. Quote Link to post
Outlaw Pete 2,224
I'd never have guessed they had hedgehogs in Kiwi! Quote Link to post
Stevo77 3
I'd never have guessed they had hedgehogs in Kiwi! Yep some dope decided they'd go well there. NZ has no Native Land Mammals they've all been introduced. Quote Link to post
Outlaw Pete 2,224
I think calling them " Dopes " is going a bit f**king mild! What the f**king hell goes on in these peoples heads?! And no native mammals? Typical. Just stand back and watch the f**king brits rectify that! Crawling with feral cats then, obviously? Quote Link to post
Stevo77 3
They have a full book of Ferals now.. possums and wallabies from oz, cats, rabbits, ferrets, stoats, weasels, rats, hedgehogs, goats, pigs, fallow, red wapiti, and other deer also Chamois and Thar from GB or the northern hemisphere. Moose were even introduced to fiordland but have either been shot out, died out or just vanished into bush. In hindsight most of the introductions were short sighted, does make for good hunting though. And plenty of work for budding pest controllers . Edited October 19, 2013 by Stevo77 Quote Link to post
