The weather has changed, to mild to push old Charles to ground , that's why I've gone more to the lamp ? I can check earth after earth and draw a blank , that's on the 2 shoots I go on , but u can lamp the same land and see good numbers , more work for the lurchers , the times have changed , out of site out of mind good luck for the rest of the season lads

ive only had few digs.1 to a bitch i bred few years back who a mate owns, another to a mates dog and 2 digs to mine and 2 bolts

just took the words out of my mouth pal even in the dead of winter there is still plenty of cover around for old red to lay up in, might have to get myself a few hounds on in the future

Talking about numbers and how everyone's going on ,I thought I'd share my experiences on thurs just gone,me and my mate took two seasoned decent dogs and a green bitch out to farm that's always held decent numbers with some nice puppy earths for the first time this season. Dug my old dog three times , once digging up to a rabbit and twice stuck!!!!!!!, my mates dog spent about an hour each going round and round two separate earths willing something to be there. We were fecking about from six till half two in the afternoon so as you can see boys my seasons started feckin brilliantly. I'm getting a ferret!'!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to point out that neither of the two terriers have done this sort of thing before and to be honest they will be on the transfer list if it happens again
