Sausage Making Machine - Any Recommendations?

You could always join, or at least read through some of the info on http://forum.sausagemaking.org/

 

They will give good advice, but you'll have to be a bit more specific, about the amount of sausage you intend to make, commercial quantities or a few pounds etc.

 

I myself have a 1 1/2 HP Reber mincer, and a horizontal 5ltr Reber stuffer, and it will cope with my occasional output of half a pig with no problems.

I use an old fashioned hand mincer with the sausage spout on the end. It's the sort you clamp to the table.

We use it for doing all our own sausages whether they are from the annual oinker or bambi and co. It isn't very fast and it takes two to make decent shape sausages but it's grand for what we need.

 

I have seen people taking the handle off and powering them with a cordless drill!
