What .22Rf Ammo You Getting Best Accuracy With

I have tried a few different .22 bullets

 

Cci terrible, bad groupings some of the bullets loose in cases.

 

Rimington not accurate in my rifle, will give tight group's at time then it will be off 2"

 

Winchester very accurate but terribly dirty after 50 rounds moderator was rattling with dirt and bolt area very dirty.

 

Lapua very accurate and clean

 

Eley very very accurate and clean but more expensive than the rest but worth the extra pound

I would say eleys.

 

However I'm getting on well with a batch of CCI's at the moment. A vast improvement to the last lot I had.

There good just very dirty I liked them until I started to clean my mod

Eley most accurate In both my .22s and the only sub that cycles my auto with no jams.

i use SK HP in my CZ452 and at 52 yards i can shoot a 1/2" target and hit it all day long without much trouble.

i tried all sorts of ammo and these are the only one that is consistent from brick to brick never have to reset zero from batch to batch.

they may be dearer than some but if you add up your misses with other ammo then SK work out about right.

Sk hp for my 455 as we'll. always on the money every tine.

 

Only problem is getting them round my area. Last lot came from rim fire magic.

I can't get my preferred Eley subs locally and have tried several brands through my Magtech semi and am now settled on RWS, which cycle reliably and have consistent accuracy.

I tested winchesters, eley, RWS and cci subs through my cz452.

 

I found the RWS to be most accurate and was shooting an inch higher at 75-90m....

best ones for accuracy i have tried are lapua sk brand hollow point but don't seem to stop rabbits like Winchester subs with a larger hollow point ,when a bunny goes down it stays down but yes they are a bit dirty , not yet tried eley subs but will give em a go.

Eley everytime, RWS group just as well but I think the Eley kill better at range.

i dont have any problem stopping rabbits stone dead with SK HP
