andyf 144
Hello: I don't think you'll get a bore guide that will deal with Rimfire and Centrefire barrels, because they are not compatible, as the rimfire are calibre sized at the breach, and the centrefires aren't. You can get a 'universal' centrefire bore guide I've got a 'Stoney Point' one and use it in 22.250, .270 & 7x57 rifles no problem, as they key into the chamber shoulder at the front and hold on an adjustable threaded bar fixed where the bolt handle usually is. Most Rimfire bore guides are made for a specific model of rifle, if you have a CZ (who doesn't) they are easy to source and when I had them I used the a single bore guide for a .22 and a .17. When I changed to a SAKO .22 rifle I had to buy a new one, they are just nylon bar turned to fit and replace the bolt, with a guide hole through the centre. Midway UK for the Rimfire. Sportsman Guncentre for the Centre Fire. AndyF Quote Link to post
