Bunny Boiler 177
JBSnets will sell a full set up with poles, grommets and everything. You can get a 100 yard net, 1 basket, net cut into two 50 yards for the same price. Think they're a bit pricey, but decent quality as far as I am aware. The ebay name for them is fieldsportsuk. lifelong cumbrian 1,826
I would get 2 50yd 4z, I have a small trammel but to be honest I cant see the point much as the rarely bounce out of the 4z net, and the trammel is heavier to carry and not as fast to load back in basket. Just my own opinion though mate. 1 Quote Link to post

Tiercel 6,986
A 4z net will always, and I mean always out catch a 6z. People always state that a 4z picks up rubbish, I have news for you, all nets pick up rubbish, fact! If anyone is worried about the amount of rubbish a net picks up then they would be better off sticking to purse nets. Learn how to clean a net as you pick it up, some rubbish, leaves, small fonds of bracken etc; are not worth worring about as they will not hinder the net going out the next time its used. The worst I have encountered is rape stubble in January no matter if it's 6 or 4z it just gets into the net and tangles it's self like it has a mind of it's own. Horrible stuff, twigs are easy to get out of a net just grab the thickest part of the twig and pull it out backwards. TC Edited October 3, 2013 by tiercel 3 Quote Link to post
