in one cross you have 3 breeds and lets say you have 9 pups they could all come to 1 type or you could get 3 different types of pups. with the more crosses in the mix the less sure you can be of how t

Instead of constantly putting up threads asking how something will turn out and what this cross will make etc etc. Why don't you tell us exactly what you want from a dog. Size, ground, tasks and let the lads make you a few suggestions?

Don't get too hung up on what size a dog will end up pal, get a dog you fancy an get it out, couple of inch either side of what you ideally want won't be end of world..

Spot on. Just what I was about to say. Get something you fancy. Out of parents you like and that are doing the job.

Don't restrict yourself with something small (3/4 whippet 1/4 collie) if you think you might want or need something bigger in 12 months.

lot of sense there..........my deerhound x wasn't made or bought for mooching woodland and scrub but she does fine, best to get a type you like and put some time and commitment into it, get yourself out with a few different types you might click with a bigger type or fall in love with the beddy x's
