DenBell 149
went to work this morning and thought i might be able to wangle an early finish so put my rifle in the car with the intention of going to the range. Anyway at lunch time about 12.30 i went to the truck to get some sarnies. sat in truck and was opening the packet when i saw of couple of rabbits playing on the bank in front of me. i was surprised to see them not only because of the time but i had walked over gravel and shut my door making quite a bit of noise. i got the rifle out the bag and put the window down, rested on the side mirror and took one of them out straight between the eyes! Not bad for my lunch break and it was first blood for Chameleon. (sorry 'mac 97' had put gun away when i took pictures so unfortunately no one can see your brilliant work) 1 Quote Link to post

kenj 131
I shoot all my rabbits during daylight hours, although late afternoon is best. In summer those big bucks love to sit out snoozing in the midday sun, just right for the air gunner. Although I have a Career 707 .22 in FAC at 28lb, a .22lr and HMR, my 12lb Webley Viper .22 PCP with an add on silencer has accounted for plenty of rabbits throughout the day. Quote Link to post
