Outlaw Pete 2,224
and this for pete the twitcher What's that? A Goldie Mule? What ever it is, very pretty little bird, mate. But, I'm genuinely smitten with that little coffee coloured thing and the blue. I'd give ye f**king embarrassing money for the brown. It's gorgeous! Just this minute finished googling and ringing round, trying to even find a f**king pet shop that sells canaries. Coming up empty for counties around! What a mad place I live in. Outlaw Pete 2,224
Whoah! That's amazing. And, obviously, far deeper into canary lore than I'll ever need to tread. Is it just coincidental then, that it has that face mask like that? And what's that coffee and cream little thing called? That's the most astonishing colour I've ever seen on a canary

gnipper 6,531
I wish you were over here liking brown birds you could have all my hen mules
Outlaw Pete 2,224
Mickmck; What's that colour called? Fifes, funnily enough, seem to be my favourite 'type' of canary, along with Irish Fancy. They just appear more natural. Gnipper; Am I about right in believing mules are canary x finch. And they'd most likely be sterile. And the hens, of course, don't tend to sing? If so, isn't that rather frustrating? Bit like a poultry farmer wanting to weed out the cocks. But, don't you have to wait till the moult? Lot of bloody feed must go on a completely useless bunch of barren hens then, one way or another. Good this. I've never really concerned myself with other than the odd pet canary and native birds in general. I wish I had an appreciation of the songs. (I wish I could hear most birds songs!) Shit! Come to think of it? I wonder if I could hear a canary any more?! Jesus! That's a Very real consideration! If not? Guess I'd just have to satisfy myself with colours I like the look of See? Take nothing for granted, Gnipper. Life can, indeed, be a bitch!
