FreddieMeggs 1
Hi everyone, I've recently got myself two saluki grey pups, a dog and a bitch. Just after a bit of advice, the bitch yowls when in the kennel or crate. She yowls and barks pretty much none stop, and went on all night last night. She's got access to a warm, dry bed area. Is fed 3 times a day and always has access to water. I've tried longer walks, kenneling her alone and with another dog, it doesn't make a difference. meaty bones are ignored. So far I've just been ignoring her so far, but the neigbhours are bound to complain before long. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance, freddie. Quote Link to post

Does anyone have another saluki that whines? Just curious as the wether it's in the blood most of the ones iv seen are very how can i say with out offending the saluki boys.............mard...........they like to be with the owner they are normally timid and layd back....my mate had one and if he raised its voice at it it would be off like a shot and would take him ages to get him to come back...allot of patience is needed with salukis (from the ones iv seen ) Quote Link to post
bedwhippet 164
I've got one that whines when food is getting prepared one whines when hears its lead rattle and one that whines just for the crack of it but she only 15 weeks old patience is a virtue but by god it's annoying Edited September 30, 2013 by bedwhippet Quote Link to post
Dan Davies 7
I must be lucky as mine is 100% howler! But he has his moments he is still a pup and his recall is almost 100% but I'm struggling to get him to bring anything back! He'd rather sit there and chew the dummy after he's chased it! Any advice on stopping this? Quote Link to post
