Ye old mukka 4
Just out of curiosity just wondering has anyone ever come across a black fox? Or silver morph as they are known.Talking to a kid at work who goes rough shooting with his .12 bore and he reckons there's one on his permission at Bradford,I've no reason to doubt this fellow as he's a decent bloke, but would love the chance to see it.I have a few years ago been lucky enough to see a pure White fox on the estate where I grew up,which I was amazed to say the least.I watched in ore as this albino scurried up and down a local playing field following it's nose, some 60 foot in front of me and my ex at 3 in the morning, with it's magnificent brush and shiny White jacket. It must have been in front of us for a good 10 minutes, not a care in the world,at one point it even looked up at us and then just carried on with it's business. We both new at that point this was a once in a lifetime situation. The more I think about it though, such a fox would in my opinion struggle in the countryside,so an urban life could only be the option, scavenging. So I'd love to see a black one, can't imagine too many people being able to hold their hands up and say they've seen all 3!!!! AirgunGuy 362
Did they not mention a black or darker strain of fox on that programme that was on last year about urban foxes? It might have been elsewhere I seen it but I'm sure there's a certain strain of fox that is a lot darker or has black in it's coat. Quote Link to post
