the big chief 3,099 Posted September 29, 2013 Report Share Posted September 29, 2013 use tru oil pal put a couple of thin coats let it dry then get the finest wire wool and rub it down it gets all the marks out of the tru oil then ad more tru oil in small amounts should do the trick Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Sheffield Catapults 71 Posted September 29, 2013 Report Share Posted September 29, 2013 Tru oil gives a very glossy finish but I don't find it offers much protection, a CA finish or a hard wax oil finish will give you the same glossy appearance but will be much harder wearing. Sheffield Catapults 71 Posted September 29, 2013 Report Share Posted September 29, 2013 Most CA glues will work to good effect, as for hard wax oils it's down to personal preference on what you want from the finish. Try visiting a flooring company and seeing what they have on offer. They should be able to show you some different examples of what's on offer mate. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
