hutchey 147
What a utter muppet! Must have been either blind, drunk, forgot their glasses or using a hand gun to miss from that range. 1 Quote Link to post
Alsone 789
Yeah I just fell on the floor laughing especially when the deer finally ran off. Quote Link to post
Yokel Matt 918
Surely after the second miss he'd have thought.. Hang on, my sights are off here - best do some target work before going back to live quarry... Nope. He wasn't even close. Made me angry more than anything! 1 Quote Link to post
Alsone 789
Well I don't know how much zoom is on the video but the deer actually looks quite close and the gun seems to be shooting high so my interpretation of what was going on is probably he has his sights adjusted for long range, say 200 yards and he's trying to shoot a deer he walked up on by chance at what appears to be about 30 yards or at lest close range. Result is he's firing way over the top as the bullet is on the upward arc. I'd say as a guess, this is someone who doesn't understand or know about ranging and turret adjustment or using the reticule for BDC. I'm guessing they probably think because its got a scope its point and shoot. I agree as well the scope looks badly adjusted though after a 2nd look as it also appears to be shooting to the left. I wonder if this rifle is borrowed and some earlier windage correction by another users hasn't been dialed out. It maybe a combination of factors. Either way by the 3rd shot, you'd have thought he'd have figured out where the bullet was actually going! Edited September 30, 2013 by Alsone 1 Quote Link to post
