Same thing happened to me the other day, just put it down to first time. Only ever been in hutch and running around the yard, it was running around the hedge like a loony and leg it every time I went near. I had a coffee and sat down for a bit and she eventually came out, think she wore her self out, took about an hour little sh!t, lol.

It should settle down when it gets into some rabbits and let it rag a dead rabbit outside the burrow to give you time to pick up the nets

see that's not a bad idea gunna give this ago cheers mate

Might help if the dead rabbits in a purse net pegged down then she cant drag it off and you can still check shes there while your picking up your nets

Some young ferrets crap them selves the first time they feel leaves, grass, soil under them for the first time, it un'nerves them, I had one just the same, you'd have thought it was walking on a hot plate  But she's 5 now, and works like a demon, give it time
