yea but my point was paulus they are having to pay it from money they get to buy food and clothe themselfs and gas/electric.

they have a choice to pay what they can. could you survive on 57 quid a week even if part of your rent was paid it wouldn't even cover my utilities never mind food

Spot on Scott....35 hours for £50! It has to be paid in accordance with the NMW otherwise there's no point having the NMW and is slave labour. For example i think i get about £56 a week at the minute so at NMW for my age that's about 9 hours work which i would be more than happy to do.

Well the point for me would be for me three things

 

1) It's much easier to get another job when you are already in work

2) Hou have more self respect and discipline when you are committed to holding down a job instead of sleeping till 11am every day

3) However little it is you are contributing to socieity rather than taking.

When Poland entered the EU our unemployment level was just over a million, eighty thousand poles came here and got a job.

How could that be?. Why weren't eighty thousand Brits filling those jobs?.

I'll tell you why, because they were getting more money for sitting on their arses than the job paid, so now we have immigrants taking jobs and now benefits for their families back home that couldn't have if British people had filled those jobs.
