falcongit 242
yea but my point was paulus they are having to pay it from money they get to buy food and clothe themselfs and gas/electric.they have a choice to pay what they can. could you survive on 57 quid a week even if part of your rent was paid it wouldn't even cover my utilities never mind food I could if I got the rest of the trimmings that go with it for serial work swerversRent paid for Council tax credit Disability living allowence Motorbility (free car)Child benifit Job seekers allowence Etc etc everybody with a child is entitled to child benefit Not strictly true mate if you earn over £50K you don't get it. My point is the full time career work dodgers know all the tricks to bleed the system dry. I may be old fashioned but I've never been out of work and if the shit hit the fan tomorrow I'd buy a bucket and ladders and go round clearing out gutters whilst working at ASDA if it meant putting food in my kids mouths. Social welfare should get here for people physically unable to work and for people fallen on hard times for a year or two IT SHOULD NOT BE A CAREER OPTION. THE WORLD DOES NOT OWE ANYONE A LIVING. And this law is a discrace You can have 2 parents both earning 45k each with 4 kids and they will get family allowence for them all. Then another family where one parent earns 55k and the other 5k and they have one kid and get feck all. Goverment never truely think things thru before implementing them. They really are feckless. there all the same mate who ever gets in they all talk sh-te

They really are feckless. the whole benefit system is a minefield of madness fueled by knee jerk reactions and party conference headline grabbing speeches, its been manipulated so many times to suit political aims it is no longer fit for purpose, take ESA a man with no legs is assessed by ATOS as fit to work no points an alcoholic or drug addict is assessed as unable to work 15 points, but at least they wont show on the books as long term unemployed,

I'm looking local and UK wide and still nothing, I'm a hard working lad, decent education, well mannered etc and learn quickly with plenty to give a company and yet i rarely even get a rejection letter nevermind an interview or a job. I had a f*****g rejection e-mail yesterday from B&M Bargains.......B&M Bargains for fucks sake!!! i could do that job with my eyes shut and yet it is not to be. It's f*****g tough and i'm sick of people putting job seekers in the same boat that we're all slackers, work shy, lazy b*****ds, whatever. There are plenty of dossers but not everyone sits in front of Jeremy Kyle wanking off to the bird with 3 teeth! I applied to 38 jobs this week, the jobs are there but will i get even a reply? I doubt it. All that effort for no reward whatsoever. I applied to be a cleaner at Asda, no. I applied to work in McDonalds, no. It's getting f*****g embarrassing trust me! in the 80s we had to travel to london for work then went to germany the last time the torys were in thatcher told us to get on our bikes for work . paulus 26
all benefits should be means tested, why are there even universal benefits i remember now, politicians dreamt them up to win elections, win, win situation use taxpayers money to pay benefits to taxpayers then tell the taxpayers those on benefits are scroungers abusing taxpayers money
dare 1,103
Soon as you mention benefits everyone starts turning on each other. Less noise is made about the lies the mps get away with and the bankers. Look how many got caught lining their pocket and they was on silly wages not in need. Also it some what winds me up abit when people moan about other people having nice things n they break their back. What are you doing it for a pat on the back? If it bothers you that much they got the car and can get drunk, join em? I don't blame you being abit pissed off but that's what's wrong with the system. Woman next door asked about how much she would earn with a job they told her to apply for. She would be better of by 11quid a week. Makes you think what's the point? What's the solution to that though? Can't just up everyone's wages. Sometimes it doesn't seem you gain much from going to work. I'm lucky that I actually love my job maybe it's because I had shit jobs before it so this feels a blessing. Being honest and it might be the wrong thing to say but I wouldn't do a job I hate for shit money. I would probably turn to crime and if I got caught way I see it, if you haven't got money you haven't got freedom anyway.
