neems 2,406
Rubytex, you're not employable if you are currently unemployed. Do some full time charity work or better yet work experience and you'll look very motivated, and if you're a good worker you'll probably either get a offered a job or get to know someone who can offer you something.

I'm looking local and UK wide and still nothing, I'm a hard working lad, decent education, well mannered etc and learn quickly with plenty to give a company and yet i rarely even get a rejection letter nevermind an interview or a job. I had a f*****g rejection e-mail yesterday from B&M Bargains.......B&M Bargains for fucks sake!!! i could do that job with my eyes shut and yet it is not to be. It's f*****g tough and i'm sick of people putting job seekers in the same boat that we're all slackers, work shy, lazy b*****ds, whatever. There are plenty of dossers but not everyone sits in front of Jeremy Kyle wanking off to the bird with 3 teeth! I applied to 38 jobs this week, the jobs are there but will i get even a reply? I doubt it. All that effort for no reward whatsoever. I applied to be a cleaner at Asda, no. I applied to work in McDonalds, no. It's getting f*****g embarrassing trust me! http://www.4xtrahands.com/single_job_listing.php?jobid=8224

RubyTex 1,957
But that's it mate, i've applied to numerous jobs through 4xtrahands and got nothing in reply. I have no stock experience bar chickens, ducks and donkeys! There are a few there i will go for as they don't seem to need much experience so thanks. I've tried all the shooting websites, 4xtrahands, find a fishing boat i used last year and went out with a local crew here potting, due to the nature of the work depending on the weather i had one days work in three weeks and then i ended up abroad, i called the skipper when i got back but he had a lad on, i've used every method imaginable so i appreciate you putting the vacancies up but it's not quite as easy as that as i have already found out

I already do neems, i volunteer at a gun battery museum doing bits and bobs round the site and doing talks on history etc to 9-14 age school groups, and i also volunteer with a fundraising group who organise beer festivals, sponsored stuff etc for local charities...
