nans pat 2,575
I don't know what your going on about tescos not being a good job when my brother was working for them granted he said it was mind numbing he was pulling 275 a week in my book that's not that bad of a wage and that was doing shells and till work That's a fair wage if your living at home. 13,200 I wouldn't call a decent wage otherwise though. I suppose it depends on the area you live aswell. That whole wage wouldn't even get you a 2 bedroom flat in my area. I'm known as the man who wanted more in my house anyway. I don't wanna just get by or survive, we're here once. I'm not a dreamer who thinks his gonna be a millionaire running his own business. I don't lack ambition though and determined to try get more outta life. Wasnt a put down on tesco workers at all infact my mum keeps saying she's going to look to get a job there soon. I have much more respect for any worker than a lazy c**t. Just think what's wrong with wanting more. I want the big house, decent car and nice things like the clothes, watches and holidays. Rather be how I am than just think sod it i won't work ill sign on and get enough money to get drunk on the weekends like some I know. You should listen to this old man lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrAU7F4RmDk Money isn't as important as family and loyalty. Other than that I say money is the most important thing. Anyone who says money doesnt make you happy is a lair or lucky enough to be able to accept living a life I simply couldn't. Your child could be ill and need treatment but have to wait on a list...along comes a footballer who flashes the cash and gets the treatment dispite his problem being self inflicted. Everyone loves money, what's a better buzz than going to the cash point n having more than you thought. Or putting on a pair of jeans and finding a score you never knew you had. Most the people who have told me money isnt everything haven't got any so to speak..think you left something out.health is your wealth without it your fooked.no pockets in a shroud.

dare 1,103
Money isn't the root of all evil. People who don't love money live in a dream world. Everyone should want more and I can't understand why not. It's almost a given up attitude IMO.

You soon start to appreciate the things in life that don't involve money a lot more than the ones that do..

Born Hunter 17,751
I'm with Dare on this for the most part. Obviously there are more important more fundamental things in life and you do have to find a balance to find happiness BUT the older I get the more I want that big fat salary. I don't see any shame in that either. Edited October 1, 2013 by Born Hunter
STRANGER 948
Money isn't the root of all evil. People who don't love money live in a dream world. Everyone should want more and I can't understand why not. It's almost a given up attitude IMO. The way I see it it's a vicious circle. The more you make, the more you want and the more you need. There are many other things in life that don't revolve around money and ultimately it can't make you happy. Believe me I've worked for and with people who had money you could only dream of, and some of them are the most miserable c**ts I've ever met The job im in atm has a piss poor wage, but I can have as much overtime as I want and could make a tidy bit, do I take it? Do I f**k. Time is far more precious, and that is something money cant buy, your only here once so you may as well enjoy it. You're spot on, people don't have to chase money. I guess all I was saying is those that do want the big house, few cars and cash to burn aren't bad either.
