TOMO 26,070
Yeh at first glance ,, it looks like a good idea,,, but would it take away a real job of somone else?...... Or is it like getting comunity service for a crime,,,, in wich case it's kind of wrong again,,, that would be like being punished for being out of work.. Don't forget there's lots of genuine folk out of work,,,,

neems 2,406
Depends on the unpaid work. If it means free slave labour for big companies then that's not a good thing, but litter picking in public or getting rid of graffiti etc could work well.
dare 1,103
Seems me and everyone else I know who go to work get more aless f**k all. Doesn't make me hate those who aren't working. Often think what's the point tbh. It's only due to bordem from being at home that does me. That and sense of pride I guess in working but suppose that's just how we've been programmed to think. Honestly don't know anyone who goes to work and is living an amazing life. I don't blame those who aren't working and would rather moan about the idiots in higher positions who even though earn silly money still lie and cheat to get their hands on more.
Astral 253
Pretty sure I read something about a lass being fired from poundland as they were "cutting back" then being told to go back to her exact position as a volunteer...will go look for a link... As much as for those lazy twatbags with too much of a sense of entitlement I'd love to say this is great, I can see right through it. It benefits nobody except big business...who now get free labour. They'll be sacking off paid positions to grab cheap staff.

scothunter 12,609
does sound a good idea if its maybe helping old folk with gardens etc or something to benefit your town/community. however are they going to pay bus fares.lunch and working clothes for these people? my mate gets something like 140 a fortnight dole money. and tbh the poor c**t cant afford f**k all. last few days he dont even have enough for a pint of milk. my maw makes stuff for him and hands in it or he wouldnt eat. folk need to seperate those who get loads of benefits and help,to those on a basic dole.
