Lovethislife 1
This is my first ever season with a lurcher I'm trying to do everything I read to make it right I'm absolutely loving it as we'll learning as well as my dog /whippet deer hound collie / he have caught a lot over this winter and still seems to be improving every trip out he very softed mouth so brings most stuff back to me as we'll real pleased with him he average 4/5 bunnies a night on a friends farm not the best but he does what I want him for I found myself asking everyone I new can I run my dog in your field / got any rabbits on your land ? Then on a Sunday afternoon dad coming home from golf where he is club captain .them bloody rabbits up the club i heard keep digging up the greens I ran down and said tell them ill go up there with the dog so he did and so I did 7 days later to see how we got on after a few misses I thought this is strange he normally has the first two of 3 anyway a night with 1 bunnie left me disappointed but intrigued so I went again same results not understand why until I read some post on here why are they so hard to catch on a golf course ? well you done well that's the most I've ever seen caught and is it the shape on the grounds obviously there closer to the dens but even when they sit out they seem to be like bullets heading for the hedges any advice given will be greatly received thanks, Quote Link to post
