First Proper Trip Out With The Ferrets

Recommended Posts

Well my pal came up from Stratford last night to fetch me my pup and a few ferrets he kept back for me, so we had a day at the rabbits today using the pause nets and trammels, I'm not going to do a big write up as I'm goosed and in need of a couple of pints and a hot soak,

The morning started slow with only 4 bolted rabbits by ten o clock (we got there at 8) but things soon picked up and we had close to 20 by 12 any way we ended the day with 32 rabbits wit 1 missed due to missing a pop hole and 2 shallow digs of about 2 ft here's an end of day pic

I must say I love the feel of the rumbling before the action

Cheers gr yes I love it and couldnt wait to get started looks like you have been doing well yourself I'm surprised your collars gets stuck on the net as they are normally 2 1/4 inch mesh off Andy or 2 1/8

I use 2 inch mesh and my jills pass through them no probs

Atb for the rest of the season or and if your looking at long nets, quickset trammell nets are really good and worth a look
