Chr15j 59
Well, I have now acquired my new (to me) HW60J, from The Duncan (who was a pleasure to deal with) and I have now scoped it up with my daft MYC Viper 6-24 with sunshade! It looks good and the balance is good (prob not great due to having Hubble mounted on it). Next is a trip to zero and then, bunnies and crows, you're in grave danger! Oh and it has a lovely trigger, naturally. Quote Link to post
maktayla 50
Well done mate. A fine rifle from a well respected manufacturer. My first and most favourite air rifle was the HW80. I have never shot the HW60J .17HMR but, if the build quality and accuracy is anything to go by you should have years of hassle free and accurate shooting. Don't know if you've owned a .17HMR before. If you have you will fall in love with it. Flat out to 100yds and extremely fast. Just like to add to your comment on bunnies and crows....I would certainly add foxes to it . Look at my pic. Shot that dog at approx 80yds in the head and he dropped on the spot. Used CCI 20gr Hollow points. Great little round for foxes. There have been numerous forums and arguments about the .17hmr and its capabilities on foxes. I look at this way... I can punch a hole through a coin the size of a 2p at 100yds on every shot with my CZ452. If you can do that, then a head shot to a fox at that disatnce is a dead fox. No arguments about it. Anyway, sorry for rambling on.... Happy shooting and watch those bunnies if you intend to eat them after. Lots of damage if you dont take the head shot Quote Link to post

Chr15j 59
Thanks for the comments, still haven't managed to shoot it but I have scoped it up with my Hubble (viper). I never owned a weichrauch air rifle but I know the rekord trigger is legendary. I ended up with a Fenman (still have it) which is excellent. Re foxes, I've taken one between the eyes at 60 yards with my cz .22 rimmy so I know an HMR will do the job (if shot in the right place) past 100 yards:) Quote Link to post
