Where To Get Bottle Filled With Co2, Not Normal Breathing Air?

Recommended Posts

does anyone know where I can get a paintball bottle filled with co2 in or around sunderland please? it is for a custom ratcatcher I have just rercieved that is adapted to run on little cylinders or a larger paintball bottle but cant find anywhere that will fill it. most paintball places are using compressed air now. any help appreciated as i'm stuck now, cheers, Liam.

apparently all the paintball places used to use it but changed to compressed air as it was cheaper, supposed to be better for more consistant shots. I've filled the bottle with air at the dive shop but every shot drops off till its shooting at about 4fpe after 7 or 8 shots. haven't even used the gun yet so could be knacked for all I know, I've had it over a week now. you live and learn, stick to compressed air in the future.

Beer gas perhaps :hmm:

Not sure what the wp is on the cylinders but a standard welding reg will fit and provided you mod it to purge, I wouldn't see why one of these cylinders wouldn't do,to decant from, pressure dependant.

Around a tenner a cylinder.

What is the size and wp on the ratty cylinder?

I can get a full 2kg fire extinguisher for a tenner or a pub gas cylinder for £12, need to know that there will work with the charging kit/hose I get though.

A standard charging hose and reg wont fit a pub cylinder.

As I said earlier, you will need a welding reg with a guage and a purge dial, plus your hose and adapter to your ratty.
