You can put the "best" to the "best" but if the lads that have them don't test them and work them hard, nobody will ever know if the offspring are any good or not. Sometimes a good prospect will never prove itself because of the owners lack of work for them/commitment/basic fitness/feeding/entering etc etc etc the list goes on. Terrier work is not and never will be, an exact science IMO There are many factors that determine how good a terrier can be. Some people don't know any of them, unfortunately. Cheers, D.
