godman 0 Posted August 31, 2007 Report Share Posted August 31, 2007 While i was looking on the net for insurace i read on quite a few sites that you can't insure shar pei's i just wondered whether its cos they are rare or you cant insure them for the same reason as stuff like wolf crosses becuse there agressive? redmoor 0 Posted August 31, 2007 Report Share Posted August 31, 2007 They have lots of health problems..from severe skin problems to ear canals so narrow you cant fit a finger down...they would cost insurance companies an arm and a leg..yet another 'designer' breed bred to look completely ridiculous. That I take it, is the "Beckham" variety?, and I am in total agreement. What you need to be aware of though is the "original" traditional Shar Pei like this little fella............
