Dont know where you heard that mate " kettle " is a really old one......as kids we would say these things without a clue as to what they meant half the time .......Thomas Kettles is a jewellers/watchmaker in Covent Garden ive never heard anyone link it with the slang word to be honest.

My mum uses the word kettle. She's gonna actually have to boil the kettle and make sure she's got plenty of sugar in her tea. She's gonna be in shock when she sees I brought myself a submariner lol. Think it's a blokes thing having a decent watch because shell never understand it. Could be worse though, this pic posted looks like a cheap wanna be audemars piguet. She'd drop dead if I brought one of them. Not that I could ever afford it lol.

155k, almost makes it tempting to have ago at the smash n grabs don't it lol. No dought get ripped of at covent garden but few of them soon adds up. Can't imagine to many shops keep such watches on display though. Also probably so unquie and such an expensive item that it'll be hard even for the jewellers to shift it so wouldn't give you near what you expect. Back to the drawing board lol.

Looks bit like a hublot to me I will make a offer if it is. Quiet a good thing to put your money into watches don't lose out much if you look after them if you buy at trade price and don't buy from shop I sold one last week i had for over a year and got same money as what I paid for it
