Gaz_1989 9,539
My mk3 locator is inaccurate by half. For example if I'm 6 foot away from the collar it says 12 foot. If I'm 2 foot away then it says 4 foot. Wether on search or locate it's the same. Replaced batteries in collar and in locator. Any ideas? Can they be re-calibrated? Also how much are these fetching now? I'm thinking about selling it and buying the mk1 knocker box. I never have liked this mk3. Quote Link to post

stealthy1 3,964
Ahhh! Its just that I've found that you have to hold the MK3 bang on vertical on locate to get it to work properly, and bang on horizontal on seek, but if yours has just gone tits up, this wont help you. paulus 26
this might be daft but the difference between the 8ft and 15ft mk1`s was the 15ft transmitter had 2 batteries (twice the power. twice the range) does the mk3 collar have 2 batteries and are both working? Quote Link to post

I did replace both the batteries in the collar but I guess there is a chance one is dead. And it was working fine last season. 100% accurate. I will get new batteries for the collar. Thanks.
