billbroon 9
Anybody had a problem with loading soft points into there rifle and it taking a flat edge of the side of the lead tip. Missed a couple of foxs lately and put it down to privies, so bought some federal. Was out stalking twice yesterday loading the same bullet twice and noticed it's put a flat edge on the tip ? billbroon 9
It's an xbolt. Rounds are kept in the magazine. Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
Buy some 95 grain sst or something like that, and do away with the problem, I cant imagine that factory ammo is going to be too long for your magazine? So it sounds like a problem with the rifle, I would be inclined to take it to a competent gun/riflesmith and get it checked. Quote Link to post
sionnach 44
like charlie caller said it seems to be a problem with rifle ie maybe points are getting caught or knocked when chambering just a suggestion. hope you resolve it. Quote Link to post
